Forte-Cross-Rockman; the subject of much misinformation and discussion.
In this page, I will lay bare the facts about FCR for all to know.
To begin, I will clarify something; FCR is the real name of the E-card abbility that has oftenly been mistakenly called "ForteSoul". To show you what it looks like, here are screens of both versions of FCR.
Yes, I said there are two forms of FCR, the gold version and the silver version;
The Gold version is in Team of Blues and it's charged shot is a rapid-fire buster that hits the row you're on and the ones on both sides of it three times each. It also gives you the Super-Armor NCP effect and HP+200.
Gold FCR is shown below;
Silver FCR is in Team of Colonel and it's charge-shot is a single Hell's Rolling disk that hits the row you're on and seeks the nearest enemy as it flys down the row. It also gives you the floatshoes NCP Effect and HP+20%.
Silver FCR is shown below;
Some things that both FCR version share are;
-The normal buster hits the rows on both sides and the one you're standing on unless there's an enemy right in front of you.
Megafolder -2
-They have the same modes as normal Rock, including Full Synchro and Angry Mode.
-They unlock two secret Forte encounters, one in an isolated region of the 3rd Oran area, the other in a hideen-path accesed region of Nebula Area 4, I will be attempting to type up the scripts of this encounter as soon as I obtain a new Action Replay. >>
How to get FCR:
-The way to obtain FCR in ToC/ToC is E-mods(Japanese Version Only) or via hacking E-mods.
-In Twin Leaders, you can obtain it by putting a Copy of ToB/ToC that has Forte's Icon in the GBA slot of the DS while playing, I belive ToB gives you gold FCR and ToC gives you Silver FCR, but I have yet to test this.
The backstory of FCR in the games is unknown, but it is in the Rockman.exe Anime's Movie and seems to have the two forms as seperate entities...
Some common misconceptions about FCR are:
-You need it to fight Lord of Chaos as Forte. This is NOT true, to fight LoC as Forte, you must beat the DS Team navis in between 2 and 3 minutes. After you fight LoC as Forte, you can encounter ForteSP randomly in Nebula Area 6.
-Calling it a soul. It is NOT a soul but rather a "Cross", it has a Full Synchro mode, a worried mode, and even an angry mode as well as the abbility to use souls.

In EXE6, FCR is still available using the same E-card or new codes, but it now lacks the Sprite Changes. Greiga gets the effects of Gold FCR, Falzar or Silver FCR.
There is a second similar mode in Twin Leaders/Double Team called Sol-Cross-Rockman.
